I'm A WINNER!!

Well, I always knew I was a winner - I mean, I know I am blessed in so many ways.  But this news was awesome!!
I am SO EXCITED!  I woke up this morning to find that I am the winner of Renee's giveaway over at Sewn With Grace.  She has a beautiful blog with lots of inspiration.  Her Sunday Scriptures are very thought provoking and meaningful.  She was my inspiration for my rules I made back in February.  I have held pretty well to that.  I have bought a couple of patterns, but I have made two quilt tops entirely from my stash - and I even made the back for one from my stash.  Thank you so much Renee!  I will love this!!

When I first started reading blogs way back when, I couldn't figure out why people didn't post every day or at least every other day!  Didn't they know I was out there waiting to hear what they were doing, sewing, reading or just to keep up with their lives????  LOL  Well, now I realize that life gets in the way of this blogging thing.  I have been busy working, reading, going to Hannah's swim lessons, sitting outside late into the evening, and watching the Olympics. And we are going camping this weekend for 5 days!  It is really busy at work right now and some days I come home too pooped to do much.  The sewing has gone to the back burner, I haven't done much of that.  Same with the cross stitching.  I love the Fall season, the cool mornings, the smells, even the days getting shorter don't bother me too much.  I look forward to getting back in my sewing room and finishing up some things and having some show and tell for you.   I may even start something new!

Congratulations, Audrey! Renee does have a sweet blog :)

You are sure right about life getting in the way of blogging. I think that happens to all of us especially during the summer months.
